Bribes is one type of Victory Points in Antihero. They're a special, non-upgrade use for Lanterns. Buying a bribe will immediately grant you a Victory Point, but the cost increases with each one bought and only three can be bought between players. The cost of each one is 5, 7, and 9 lanterns respectively.
Strategy
- Ah, bribes, one of the oldest features of civilization. Bribes can tip the balance in your favor, especially if you have a surplus of lanterns or a particularly strong income. Be sure to balance need with victory and consider buying a bribe even if you're not pursuing that course of action - what you deny to the enemy this turn might win you the game in the next one!
